GENUI Partners is a private investment firm established by a group of exceptional entrepreneurs, the GENUI entrepreneurs, and investment professionals, the GENUI partners. What sets us apart is a unique combination of entrepreneurial ability, a strong network, and expertise in processes and governance.
GENUI invests in medium-sized companies (“Mittelstand”) in the German-speaking countries. In addition to capital, we provide companies with advice tailored to their specific requirements. We support the generation of value and make sound investment decisions that enable enterprises to maintain their industrial independence. In doing so, we also ensure that governance structures are professional and growth-oriented.
As a shareholder, GENUI offers a flexible approach that includes extended holding periods and structuring of the shareholding to reflect individual circumstances.
We operate in a range of situations:
- Growth finance/capital increases
- Succession arrangements/acquisition of shares from departing shareholders
- Acquisition of non-core businesses
- Public to privates (P-2-P)
GENUI does not engage in project financing, restructuring, recapitalisation or venture capital finance.
The GENUI entrepreneurs have built up larger businesses successfully and have also added value to enterprises by taking active ownership roles as non-executive board members when making substantial investments in the respective companies.
